Everything we do in life is only a game, whether we are aware of it or not, and it’s only up to us how we choose to play it.

Do you usually take the easy way out and stick to what’s known and “safe” to you, or do you take a step further and grow? Stepping out of our comfort zone and trying new things, is very difficult because it will trigger fears. We are afraid of the unknown and we tend to cling to the comfort of what’s uncomfortably well-known to us.

[column size=”1/2″ class=”right”]We say to ourselves that we want to change, grow, be better, evolve, have a better life, but in some way, we tend to self-sabotage and procrastinate. I know, from my own experience, and what I’ve seen with people around me, that it takes tremendous courage to face what we often times want to ignore the most.[/column]

The truth is that no change can come from staying in the same place, making the same decisions, taking the same risks. Once I really understood this, I was able to make a few difficult and scary decisions, but in the long run, these brought much growth, expansion, joy and freedom in my life.

We tend to tell ourselves stories, excuses and justifications for why we can’t make changes; and we tend to blame other people or circumstances for our decisions, lack of action and stuckness. When the reality is that we are the creators of our own lives. We are responsible for what we experience. We are always creating, either by default or design.

One of the most common fears that we face is “What if I fail?” but, have you asked yourself, what if you Succeeded?? In order to thrive while you create change in your life, you have to be willing to take different risks, step into growth, so you can get different results.

Here are some of the different results you will get in your life by stepping out of your comfort zone:

  • You’ll be amazed of what you’re capable of – you’ll tap into gifts that you were not aware you had.
  • You’ll get clarity about each step to take as you follow your path, often times the steps won’t be revealed until you commit to pursue your path
  • Amazing synchronicities and coincidences will start to happen with more regularity in your life
  • Your relationships improve in a magical way as you feel the joy and sense of rightness about your path, you will relax and let others be who they are. You’ll release the idea of having other people be different for you to be happy because you’ve taken the steps you need to be truly happy and connected to your Authentic Self.
  • You’ll feel a deep sense of fulfillment and satisfaction with your life and life becomes a joyful and creative adventure that always was meant to be.
  • You’ll be living from an authentic place, owning your own story. Your life will not be based on “shoulds” anymore.
  • You would be providing an amazing example to people around you, your kids, by encouraging them, showing them that it’s possible to live being true to yourself. Ask yourself, Are you the adult that you want your child to grow up to be? And remember, your dreams are as hungry as your fears, so make sure you’re feeding your dreams and starving your fears!

[column size=”1/2″ class=”right”]Because we wanted to inspire you to step out of the comfort zone we created a section with “dares” that we’ve done and are still performing almost on a daily basis, to give you real-life examples and not only a theoretical knowledge.  The truth is that our planet is a big playground as well as a divine and profound being who feels the feelings we feel, and the way you play your life affects everything else. [/column]

[/columns]

By saying that we encourage you to try some of the “dares” we demonstrated in The Game of Life section to change your life for the better. Of course there are many tools and resources such as books, movies, online lessons etc. which you can learn from about success, joy, spirituality, enlightenment, growth, creation etc., but with this game you can make your efforts much more efficient because it’s the feelings combined with thought that make us who we are, and by performing a dare we invite excitement into our life whenever we decide to do so, regardless of the environment, body and time.
