Stealing our nephews – Intention, Cleverness
Intention backed up by firm belief and faith is one of the strongest forces we humans have. Stronger than any law, or any other rule set by those who think have the ”power”. Let me show you a practical, yet very naughty and clever example. You all know that picking up children from the kindergarten has very strict rules, in our country at least. They can be picked up only by their parents, or other family members, confirmed by the parents. Hmm… not what we experienced…
To demonstrate that an intention can bend any rule, we decided to do the following dare. Yesterday we invited El’s sister for today’s lunch, with her two children, which she agreed on. But before she finished with work, we went to pick up the children ourselves, unannounced of course. We didn’t know the exact location of the kindergarten, but we knew it’s near their home. Around 1pm we came to the nearest kindergarten and I went into the classroom to ask if there are any children with the names of our nephews. Ha,ha, I was lucky, because my three-year-old niece was standing near her teacher. The teacher looked at me and because she didn’t know who I am, asked my niece if she knows me. My niece as sweet as she can be, with her blond curls, said surprised, ‘’yes, this is my Even!” ,she didn’t say aunt Even, because I prefer calling me by my name, as I’m to young to be titled. 😉
The three year old child was surprised, because never before I’ve came to pick them up. But, as soon as she accepted that today I am the one, she ran into my arms. Then she showed me her brother’s classroom. We packed all their stuff and drove home. On the way both of them were wondering why we came, so we explained everything and after that they started laughing like crazy, because they knew, as young as they are, how their mother would react, when she will not find them where she left them this morning. I know what you’re thinking right now – it’s little crazy yes, even I would go crazy, wouldn’t you?
When we came home we played a little, than we prepared lunch as planed and kids helped a lot. After 3pm El went to pick up his sister from work and on the way home she was explaining so many things about her day at work, that she completely forgot to pick up her kids. But this was good right, otherwise El would be stuck with excuses. When they arrived, she remembered she forgot her kids, so she panicked and told El to quickly take her back. My husband is a very smart man, especially when it comes to situations like this, so he told her he urgently has to use the toilet and then they will go back.
They entered the house and when she came to say a quick Hello, she saw her kids with me in the kitchen cooking. Let me tell you – she stood as frozen to the ground, with her mouth wide open. We all started to laugh and she couldn’t react at all. I had to give her a hug so she could feel the ground again.
When the surprise shock settled down, she was all about gratitude. The most astonished thing however is, that the two teachers from the kindergarten allowed the two children leave the facility. Even I know that they are not allowed to do that, because they didn’t know who I am, even though the children knew me. Now you see what I meant by Intention being the strongest force. But please keep in mind that we only did this for fun, a good reason and with the highest intentions.
With light and joy,
